FL22 Coolant
« on: August 08, 2013, 12:21:47 pm »
Hi there,

My Coolant is pretty much gone! The cap on my 07 M6 say FL22.
Struggled to really source this and places like Halfords dont do it. My local Mazda dealer want £56 for a 4 Litre bottle!! (Flippin eck!!)

Ive found another site that sells FL22 but not sure if its regular FL22 or specifically for an MX5 as it say MX5 MK3 Only.

http://www.mx5parts.co.uk/coolant-premixed-fl22-longlife-ltrs-mazda-only-p-1594.html

Can anyone confirm I can use this in my Mazda 6 as the price is so much cheaper than getting it from Mazda direct.

Thanks

Nath'

All done. The FL22 x@ £12.07 is the same as the fluid that Mazda are selling at £56.
How can they justify that price?!

Will this coolant also work in a Mazda6 2010. Since I was also quoted £56 pounds for a 5litre coolant from my local stealer  >:(.... I said is the coolant made of gold or something!!!! Told them to keep it!!!!

Not sure if my dealer has made a mistake, but i bought 5 litres for £12.50 +VAT.
When he gave me the price, i asked if that was for one litre.
It was definitely 5 litreS pre-mixed FL22 in a genuine mazda container.
I bought 2 as i'm due a coolant change in a few months.
