Is timing chain replacement required?
« on: June 06, 2022, 06:09:06 pm »
Hi.
Do I need to start worrying about my Mazda 6 2006 1.8 L813 engine's timing chain potential issues and/or replacement at all? The car is at 110k mileage..
Well at least Mazda's Owners Manual Book does not mention anything about maintenance regarding this matter although it might be controversial in reality.??
Has anyone got any good or bad experience, advice on this? Quite a bit confusing topic this for me at least so want to be sure I'm not missing out something there.

Thanks.
E.

If you change your oil every year you shouldn't have any problems.
