Brake fluid change

Is it true that my 3 series brake fluid has to be changed every two years?

Yes you should change you brake fluid ever 2 years, a lot of dealers never do this unless asked, this applies to most cars and bikes.
Brake fluid by it's nature absorbs water, so once you've opened a bottle it'll soon start going off, so always best to start with a new bottle and not an open one you've had kicking around in the garage.
